Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) Yojana is one of the flagship schemes of the Government of India aimed at improving the economic fortunes of farmers and making them self-sufficient. Under this scheme, a farmer is provided with Rs 6,000 per year, which will be paid in three equal installments. Under this scheme an installment amounting to Rs 2,000 gets credited directly into farmers’ bank accounts. This has not yet been done for new farmers under the PM Kisan Yojana. This should be contacted at the nearest agriculture department office to apply for this scheme or apply online. In order to apply, farmers should keep on holding Aadhar card, land papers and bank account information. Farmers will be availing benefits of scheme thereafter.
